Cookies Policy — serversim

This page summarizes — in English — what cookies serversim uses, why, and how to control them. See the Korean version for the authoritative text.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your browser to remember preferences or login state. We use only the minimum cookies required to operate the Service.

2. Cookies we use

2.1 Essential cookies (required)

Supabase Auth session (sb-*-auth-token): keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: 1 hour (auto-refreshed).
Locale preference (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers your language choice (en / ko). Lifetime: 1 year.
Welcome dismissal (serversim:welcome-seen, in localStorage): hides the welcome modal after first visit.
Scenario draft (serversim:scenario, in localStorage): auto-saves your current scenario locally so a refresh doesn’t lose work.

2.2 Analytics

We currently do not use third-party analytics. If we add aggregated, anonymous analytics in the future, we will update this page and add an opt-out switch.

2.3 Advertising

We do not use any advertising cookies or trackers. No Google Ads, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party retargeting.

3. Third-party cookies

Google OAuth — during the sign-in flow only (on google.com domains, not on serversim).
Lemonsqueezy — when you are redirected to the checkout page (lemonsqueezy.com cookies, separate from serversim).

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in your browser:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Block all cookies, or per-site management

Note: blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent saving scenarios.

5. Updates to this policy

If we add new cookies or change purposes, we will update this page and announce the change in-app.
